Who are we?

Cripps Hall Association is the membership arm of The Cripps Hall Trust, an independent registered charity. Founded in 1973 with the help of a generous donation from the Cripps Family, The Trust continues to work to support those who have been resident in Cripps Hall.

The funds held by the Trust support the The Cripps Hall Association’s activities, an alumni group run by a management committee made up of current and former Cripps Hall residents.

The Cripps Family, along with the first Warden, Harry Lucas, wanted to foster an ethos based on a sense of community and fellowship. This endures to this day. Students are encouraged to develop broader skills and values alongside their academic pursuits, not only to realise their full potential as individuals but to make a positive contribution to others.
